Ms. Celia Mistretta's Web Page

I've been at MCHS for twelve years now and your student will have me for either biology or chemistry.  They may even have me as a teacher for both.  Either way, plan on there being homework every night (and this is likely to include studying and reviewing) and to have lots of time in class for learning and practice.  All classes have many hands-on activities (including lab work, individual activities and group projects).  In addition to learning the science, students are also expected to work on their study skills and life skills (cooperation, organization, etc.).  Science can be a challenge for some but it can be enjoyable for all.  See you in class,

Celia Mistretta
